Worldwide, there will always be indicators which determine - even without our knowing it - where we have been, where we are and where we are going.
Il y a toujours devant nous des indicateurs; des indices qui nous parlent de notre voyage socio-politique. . . qui nous indiquent là ou on est passé, là ou on en est et là ou nous en serons demain.
The story of Rwanda in 1994 is a sordid one - a story which should make the world cringe - but it didn't and it doesn't. Lt Gen Roméo Dallaire, in Rwanda, asked the world for assistance and the world told him, in politically correct terms of course, to "go to hell". And he did. Along with the souls of 800,000 people, during a 100 day murder rampage, his was ripped from him insides also.
